PART 2: Friday 22nd May – Construction

Time: 9:30am – 2:00pm
Cost: $55 per session (bookings required for each session)

Please arrive 15 minutes early to set up for a prompt start.
We recommend booking both sessions to complete your trousers and get the most out of the class.

What You’ll Make

A relaxed pull-on pant featuring:

• Elasticated waistband
• Flattering wide leg
• Optional extras like pockets and belt loops

A simple, versatile design you’ll want to sew again and again.

Before the Class

You will need to purchase the Vacation Vibes Palazzo Pants pattern by Pattern Emporium.

• Includes subtle flare and dramatic flare options
• Flare can be adjusted in class if you prefer a straighter leg

Please arrive with your pattern prepared and ready to cut:

• Choose your size using the measurement chart
• If between sizes, select the smaller size

Printing Your Pattern

Option 1: Print at home

• 46 pages
• Easy assembly (no trimming required)

Option 2: A0 printing (recommended)

• 5 large pages
• Available at Officeworks (approx. $20)

Option 3: Trace in-store

• Use our master copy
• Bring tracing paper or vilene
• Pattern must still be purchased due to copyright

No need to print the instruction booklet — we’ll guide you through everything in class.

What to Bring

• Sewing machine
• Overlocker (if you have one)
• Fabric (rayon, viscose, linen or linen blend – see pattern for quantities)
• Elastic (40mm or 50mm, waist length + extra)
• Matching thread
• Fabric scissors
• Pins
• Safety pin (for threading elastic)
