Gutermann Creativ Maraflex is a highly elastic sewing thread made from 100% polybutylene terephthalate (PBT). It’s specially developed for flexible, long-lasting seams on light- to medium-weight knit fabrics such as jerseys, activewear, and lingerie.
With up to 80% stretch, Maraflex allows you to sew smooth, pucker-free seams using a standard straight stitch—eliminating the need for a zigzag stitch or overlocker.

Ideal for sewing elastic seams on knitwear, activewear, swimwear, and other stretch fabrics. For best results, use it as both the needle and bobbin thread, typically paired with a size 70/80 needle.
