Lets get back to basics! Saturday’s 12noon to 3pm
4 x week course starting – February 5th, 2022
Week 1 (5th Feb) – Let’s get to know your machine! The most important thing to get started in sewing is knowing your machine – includes threading, needle types, presser feet, understanding tension, and what all those stitches are for and how best to use them.
Week 2 (12th Feb) – We show you the most used sewing techniques and understanding basic sewing skills- Buttonholes, Sewing on Buttons, with your machine, zipper insertion, gathering, Elastic and basting.
Week 3 (19th Feb) – The bit you’ve been waiting for – understanding patterns and how they work. From reading the markings to cutting your fabric.
Week 4 (26th Feb) – Sewing the garment.
COST:
$45 per week if all 4 x sessions attended – Total $180.00
$55 if less than for weeks attended
